Thomas W. Ruff & Company
was founded in 1936 in Columbus, Ohio. Today with four localities
and an alliance of networked dealers, Ruff is one of the country’s
largest total service business interior dealerships.

OUR CHALLENGE:
- Despite numerous banks and
leasing companies competing for their business, Ruff had yet to find
a leasing company that delivered on their promises.
- In the past, slow payment
and inconsistency with approvals had all but terminated Ruff’s desire
to offer a financing option for their customers.

Company that not only was a leasing option necessary for their clients,
it could act as a tool that helped them close MORE sales; without more

SOLUTION: PROVE IT
- With much apprehension,
Thomas Ruff submitted a lease application to us.
- Approval came back for their
client in 24 hours. Final documents went out via FedEx. Ruff looks like
a hero, customer is happy.
- Approximately 30 days later,
installation is complete. THE SAME DAY installation was finished Thomas
Ruff & Company received a check in full. Thomas Ruff & Company
is confused as to why leasing was not always this simple.

fact, nearly 90% of their new systems were financed through outside
sources.

slow and inconsistent. Too many turndowns began costing TNG closed sales.

a broad range of customers, we were able to increase the number of approvals
and closed sales.

allowed TNG to offer their product to a wider audience including new
business and companies with less than perfect credit history.
- As the incoming volume from TNG increased,
we began a daily update via fax and email.

OUR CHALLENGE:
- JTGAFX rapid growth was forcing them to
increase size (both physically and technically) as quickly as possible.
Managing cash flow suddenly became a crucial issue.
- Recognizing their customer’s needs, JTGRAFX
knew it was time to begin hosting their client’s sites along with their
own; however, despite plenty of new business, a network of new servers
would not in the immediate budget. Success and growth had created a
problem.
SOLUTION:
- After picking out the necessary equipment,
all that we needed from JTGrafx was a signed lease application. Recognizing
past strength, present success, and future growth, approval came back
in less than 24 hours.
- Because revenue would not be realized
immediately from this equipment, JTGrafx chose our 90 day deferred payment
program allowing them to increase cash flow prior to payment schedule
beginning.
- Also important was our understanding of
the true life span of this equipment and the customer’s desire for tax
benefits "right now". Commercial Lease Solutions structured
the lease so that the full amount of the monthly payments could be deducted
on a yearly basis, effectively dropping monthly rental by 1/3.
RESULT:
Wise capital management allowed this growing
business to expand their services and provide a more complete package
to their current and future customers.
